Admittedly, cash isn't the most personal way to make someone happy, and in some circles it's even frowned upon - but hear us out! If the person you're shopping for has wishes that are nearly impossible to fulfill, money, in the spirit of 'treat yourself to whatever you feel like,' is sometimes the last resort - and maybe it's exactly what they need right now. As a rule, Christmas cash gifts are something that's common only within the family and often goes to younger family members who don't yet earn their own money. At least such Christmas gifts can be wrapped and given creatively, for a birthday just as much as for Christmas.

Of course, one option is to hand over the bills directly or in an envelope with a Christmas card. But if it isn't a personal gift like a nice bracelet or a homemade photo book, it can at least be nicely wrapped or arranged. If you've mastered the art of paper folding, you can really go to town: flowers, stars, little animals, and all sorts of other shapes and figures can be crafted this way - origami with money, so to speak. Folding bills isn't that hard, so give it a try.
It's also popular to play a little prank and hide bills inside an empty walnut shell, for example, then glue it back shut. Or to conceal the bills at the bottom of a box filled with packing material, maybe even with a few stones so it feels like a big, valuable gift. But because many people have already received or given such gifts, it often takes a bit more ingenuity.
Why not frame the bill or get an inexpensive box with a glass pane? Add a small hammer and a little sign that reads 'Break glass in case of emergency.'
